What is Kybella®?

The Kybella® Treatment
During your Kybella® treatment, the skin will be cleansed, and a numbing cream applied. Then, multiple small injections will be placed in the area beneath the chin to break down and destroy fat cells. Once these cells are eliminated, they will be naturally absorbed by the body. Treatment can take 15-20 minutes to complete.
What to Expect Following Kybella®
Following your Kybella® injections, patients may experience temporary bruising, redness, numbness, and swelling over the next couple of days, after which you will begin to see noticeable results. The number of treatments required will depend on your individual chin profile and unique goals. Many patients can see results in 2-4 treatments, though up to six treatments may be required.
Once targeted fat cells are destroyed, they can no longer store or accumulate fat, so no further treatment is needed.
