What are Chemical Peels?

A chemical peel is a cosmetic procedure in which a special chemical solution is applied to the skin to remove dead and damaged skin cells. There are also different depths of chemical peels, including light, medium, and deep.

• Light Peels: Remove the outermost layer of the skin to treat fine lines and wrinkles, acne, uneven skin tone, and skin dryness. Patients can receive a light peel every 2-5 weeks.
• Medium Peels: Removed dead skin cells from the outermost layer of skin, as well as some of the upper part of the middle layer.
• Deep peels: Removes cells deeper into the skin to treat deeper wrinkles or scars.

For those who are looking for a light chemical peel to help improve their skin texture and tone, the Micropeel is a great choice. Ultimate results can be enjoyed after two weeks, and patients can repeat these treatments every 1-3 months for the best results.
