What is Juvéderm® XC?

The Juvéderm® XC Treatment
During your Juvéderm® XC treatment, we will begin by applying a topical anesthetic to numb the treatment area, ensuring that you are totally comfortable during your injection. Next, a very fine needle will be used to inject the filler into the designated areas. Treatment time may vary depending on the amount of correction desired and can last anywhere from 15-60 minutes.
Results will be noticeable directly after treatment, and you will be able to notice a smoothness to your skin, as well as a firmer look.
What to Expect Following Juvéderm® XC
Following your treatment, you may experience temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising, and itching at the injection site. These effects will resolve with time. While there is no downtime needed after treatment, we recommend that you avoid strenuous exercise and sun/heat exposure for 24 hours for the best outcomes. The results from Juvéderm® XC are long-lasting and can last up to one year.
