The Moxi Treatment
To begin, your skin will be cleansed and a numbing cream will be applied to ensure your comfort. You will also be asked to wear protective eyewear to shield your eyes from the laser light. The Moxi handpiece emits controlled light energy to target pigmented or damaged cells. The body’s natural healing process then works to eliminate these damaged cells and replace them with new ones. Treatment takes only 30 minutes to complete.
Many patients require a series of 3-4 treatment sessions to obtain optimal results.
What to Expect Following Moxi
Because this treatment is non-ablative, it requires no downtime! You may experience mild redness or swelling, but this should resolve over the next couple of hours. We advise that you wait to resume your regular skincare and makeup routines until the day after treatment. Over the next couple of days, your damaged skin will begin to slough away, revealing beautiful, fresh skin. Most patients can see results within 3-5 days and enjoy a more even skin tone, reduced pigmentation, and improved skin texture.
