However, this option isn’t for everyone, and it’s important to meet with our knowledgeable providers to determine if you’re a good fit. In the meantime, here are a few ways you can know if you’re a good candidate for ThermaVein.

You’re Bothered By Vascular Lesions

Vascular lesions are spots on the skin caused by vascular activity. These can include:

Because of the nature of ThermaVein’s technology, you may not be a good candidate if you have certain health conditions or statuses. For example, you should not be pregnant or have an epilepsy diagnosis. Additionally, you may not be a good candidate if you have a pacemaker. You Have Rosacea

Redness caused by rosacea can be difficult to treat, especially because of the sensitive nature of the skin. Fortunately, it can target the tiny blood vessels contributing to rosacea and treat them without overly irritating the skin. If you’ve been struggling with rosacea and the associated redness, ThermaVein is a great accompaniment to your treatment plan.

You’re Able to Follow Aftercare Instructions

After treatment, you’ll need to avoid sun exposure for the first few weeks. This is because treatment can make your skin more sensitive to sun damage. If you spend a lot of time outside, it’s best to adjust your schedule accordingly. If spending time outside is unavoidable, such as for your job, then you’ll need to be diligent about wearing broad-spectrum sunscreen daily.

Your Schedule Can Accommodate Multiple Treatments

Depending on your treatment plan, you may need multiple treatment sessions to get best results. These are typically spaced about four weeks apart for facial treatments and six weeks apart for body treatments. If your schedule can’t accommodate multiple treatments, you may not be a good candidate.
