Pelvic pain in women is discomfort in the pelvic region and can be caused by a number of factors, one of the biggest ones including menopause. When a woman’s estrogen levels dip, their pelvic floor muscles become thinner and dryer, and can also develop trigger points that can lead to discomfort. At Grand Pearl Spa, we offer a selection of effective treatment options to help improve pelvic pain symptoms.

diVa™

diVa™ laser vaginal rejuvenation therapy is an efficient treatment option to improve menopausal symptoms and changes that can lead to pelvic pain. The diVa™ laser vaginal rejuvenation therapy uses laser energy to increase natural vaginal lubrication, decrease pain during intercourse, and increase vaginal tone and laxity. This can result in less pelvic pain and more satisfaction during intimate moments.

PRP Injections

PRP injections use a patient’s own blood platelets to stimulate collagen production as well as cell turnover for overall rejuvenation. When used to treat pelvic discomfort, this therapy can be used to help relieve pain and heal damaged tissues that lead to these issues. During a PRP treatment, a routine blood draw will be performed. The blood is then placed into a machine called a centrifuge, which will spin to separate the platelets from the other blood components. Once the platelets are separated, they are collected and applied to the treatment area.
