The Juvéderm® Voluma XC Treatment

To begin your Juvéderm® Voluma XC treatment, your injector will cleanse the skin and apply a topical numbing cream. This will ensure that you’re completely comfortable. Then, a small needle will be used to inject the Juvéderm® Voluma XC into the midface or chin to enhance these areas. Treatment time will vary depending on the amount of correction desired and can take anywhere from 15 minutes to one hour.

What to Expect Following Juvéderm® Voluma XC

Following your filler appointment, you may experience mild redness, soreness, bruising, or itching at the injection sites, which will resolve with time. For the best results, be sure to avoid strenuous exercise and sun/heat exposure for 24 hours. There is no downtime required, so you can return to school, work, or your daily activities as soon as you wish. Results can last up to one year in the chin and two years in the midface.
