The Juvéderm® Vollure™ XC Treatment
To begin your Juvéderm® Vollure™ XC treatment, the targeted area will be cleansed, and a topical numbing cream will be applied to the treatment area to reduce your sensitivity to pain. This filler also contains lidocaine to further improve your comfort. Next, your injector will artfully inject the filler using a very fine needle. The entire process can take between 15 minutes and one hour, depending on the amount of correction desired.
What to Expect Following Juvéderm® Vollure™ XC
There is no downtime following Juvéderm® Vollure™ XC, so you can feel free to return to your regular routine right away! Patients may experience mild redness, bruising, swelling, or itching at the injection site, which will resolve with time. For the best results, we recommend avoiding strenuous exercise and activity, as well as intense sun and heat exposure for 24 hours. Our team will provide you with specific aftercare instructions to make sure that you receive optimal results. Juvéderm® Vollure™ XC results can last up to 18 months.
