What is Juvéderm® Ultra XC?

The Juvéderm® Ultra XC Treatment
Your Juvéderm® Ultra XC treatment can take anywhere from 15 minutes to one hour, depending on the number of syringes needed. To begin, your injector will apply a numbing cream to the treatment area to make sure you are comfortable. Then, a small needle will be used to skillfully inject the filler into the designated areas. This may feel like a small pinch but is very tolerable.
What to Expect Following Juvéderm® Ultra XC
Following your Juvéderm® Ultra XC treatment, temporary side-effects may include swelling, tenderness, bruising, itching, or redness at the injection site. There is no downtime required after injection, so you can feel free to return to your regular daily activities. We do, however, recommend avoiding strenuous exercise and intense sun exposure for 24 hours to ensure proper healing. Results can last up to one year, with optimal treatment.
