Micro-Needling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy, is a non-invasive skin rejuvenation procedure that reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, acne pitting and the improvement of the skin’s texture, tone and color.
The Eclipse MicroPen Elite™ used for our Micro-Needling treatments is the first completely cordless fractional automated Micro-Needling device. Tiny points gently graze your skin to create micro channels that stimulate the skins natural healing response; resulting in the production of collagen & elastin, which are essential for maintaining youthful skin. Some patients only require a single treatment once a year to achieve optimal results. Most patients, however, achieve optimal results through a series of 3-6 treatments spaced about 4-8 weeks apart.

Micro-Needling + PRP
What is Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)?
Autologous Platelet-Rich Plasma, also known as PRP, is a high concentration of your own platelets in a small volume of plasma that contains various growth factors. Using PRP in combination with Micro-needling can help remodel and repair skin damage and create new skin.
How is the PRP collected?
Step 1: Utilizing a specialized blood collection tube, a practitioner draws a small amount of blood similar to what is required for a basic lab test.
Step 2: The tube is then placed into a centrifuge which spins the blood at a very high speed, causing the platelets to separate from other components of the blood.
Step 3: Once the platelets are concentrated into the plasma they can be applied to the treatment area. Activation causes platelets to release essential growth factors and signaling proteins, which are responsible for the healing process.
